At It AGAIN!

After finishing a full marathon last year in Anchorage, Alaska I said I would never do another one.

Well, I lied - sort of. I am not brave enough to tackle another full marathon but have signed up to do a mini this Labor Day weekend in Virginia Beach, VA. This promises to be an exciting run with music bands at every mile, cheering crowds and crashing ocean waves!

Join me again on in helping to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in their battle to find a cure for blood related cancers.

MARATHON -
M ore children in the US die each year from leukemia than any other disease

A dults are affected too - leukemia is the leading fatal malignant disease in people under the age of 35

R esearch funded by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has resulted in survival rates that have increased from 4% in 1960 to 80% today!

A dditional services provided through the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society include education and patient and family support programs.

T eam in Training is the largest endurance training program in the US and in 2001 TNT raised more than $82 million for the Society

H ere's hou it works: volunteers (like me) train and participate in endurance events that others (like you) support through donations.]

O n August 31, 2003 I will join hundreds of other participants and run 13.1 miles in the Virginia Beach 1/2 Marathon to raise money for the Society

N ow here's YOUR part - you contribute money to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society using the form below, and together we will work toward a cure for leukemia and other blood-related cancers.
